PRODUCT EVIDENCE

Show the work behind the recommendation.

A specification, a study and an experience with a product answer different questions. We keep them separate.

Current status — September 28, 2026: Our 18 buying-guide options have undergone desk research. None has completed an AgingWellTech hands-on evaluation. We have no original performance results or star ratings to report.

Four kinds of information

  • Provider information: advertised features, prices, requirements and terms, linked and dated. A manufacturer claim is not an independent result.
  • Published research: what a study actually examined, its population and limitations. Evidence about a category does not validate every current model.
  • Original observation: what we personally attempted and observed with an identified product, setup and date. Only completed observations will receive this label.
  • Unknown: questions we have not answered, including evidence that conflicts or is unavailable.

What an original evaluation will record

  1. Exact model, version, source of the product, whether it was purchased or supplied, and any relationship with its maker.
  2. The task, connection, setup, instructions followed, evaluator and relevant experience.
  3. Measured setup time, failed attempts, help needed, control readability and routine maintenance.
  4. Original photos or recordings where appropriate, with private information removed.
  5. Observed support and return experiences only when actually attempted; policies are documented separately.
  6. Limitations: one household or evaluator cannot establish suitability for everyone.

What we will not infer

We will not infer emergency response reliability, fall-detection accuracy, clinical benefit or compliance from a short household trial. We will not stage falls or trigger emergency responses to create review content. Any alert-device check must follow the provider’s authorized test procedure.

Independent judgment, disclosed support

Free samples or commissions will not buy a favorable finding. Any sample, sponsorship or affiliate relationship will be disclosed. We will describe the scope of expert input accurately and will not claim clinical review without a qualified reviewer actually doing it.
