Privacy at AgingWellTech
Updated October 5, 2026
Aging Well Tech LLC, based in Minnesota, operates AgingWellTech for readers in the United States. Contact us at info@agingwelltech.com about this notice or your information.
Reading the guides
You can read our guides without creating an account. The site does not ask you to submit worksheet answers, medical histories, or payment information. Printing a guide uses your browser's print function.
Website delivery and security
Wix hosts this website. Hosting and security providers process technical information, such as an IP address and browser or request information, to deliver pages, maintain the service, and protect it from abuse. Wix may create visitor sessions and use service or security cookies. Our hosting response also includes Cloudflare's __cf_bm bot-management cookie.
Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to obtain the font files. This sends request information such as your IP address. See Wix's privacy policy, Cloudflare's privacy policy, and Google's privacy policy for their practices.
Optional analytics
If you choose Allow all, Google Analytics receives page visits, product-link events and clicks to fixed decision-tool destinations, with technical information such as your browser and network address. It uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits. We send canonical page addresses without query strings or fragments and do not send worksheet answers, calculator entries, search text, email addresses, or referring-page URLs in our measurement events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Google processes this data under its privacy policy.
We remember your analytics choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to change it. Choosing Only necessary blocks our Google Analytics tag and removes its first-party analytics cookies; it does not erase information already received by Google. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track keeps optional analytics off. Our separate aggregate product counter is described below. Optional analytics is not a complete count of all readers and does not report purchases or affiliate commissions.
Product-link counts
On our three product comparison guides, we count clicks on product names to understand which options readers investigate. Our counter stores an aggregate total for each article and product, not individual click histories. It does not store visitor identifiers, email addresses, IP addresses, referrers or browsing profiles, and adds no cookies or browser storage. The request goes to this website and is processed through Wix; the hosting and security practices above still apply. Our counting code respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Counts may include repeat clicks and are not records of purchases or unique readers.
Family Action Plan and cost calculator
The Family Action Plan processes your answers in the page's memory to display a printable plan. The cost calculator also works in your browser. These tools do not send your entries to us, add them to URLs, or save them in cookies or browser storage. Clear entries when finished on a shared device. Refreshing or leaving a page may lose your work. Browser features, extensions, and any printed or downloaded copies are outside these tools' control. Do not enter diagnoses, medication details, passwords or other sensitive information. Ordinary hosting requests still occur when you load pages or follow links.
When you email us
We receive your email address, your message, and any information you choose to include. We use correspondence to respond to questions, investigate corrections or accessibility problems, and handle privacy requests. Our email provider also processes correspondence to deliver and store messages. Please send only information needed for your request, and avoid sending medical records, passwords, payment details, or identification documents.
Decision Kit access and email status
The Decision Kit can be read and printed without submitting an email address. General public signup remains closed. Invitation-only signup testing is available to approved test participants and creates real subscription records after email confirmation. The email practices below apply to those tests and existing subscriber records. No worksheet answers are sent to us.
When you use an available request form, Aging Well Tech and Wix Forms receive your email address, the request date, and any subscription choice you make. We use this information to record your request and provide access to the Decision Kit. Worksheet answers stay with you; we do not collect them.
Ongoing email guidance is optional. Requesting the kit does not by itself subscribe you. If you select the subscription checkbox, Wix records your choice and sends a confirmation email. We send marketing only after you confirm. We do not sell our email list.
Newsletter topic choices are optional. We store requested and confirmed choices separately to help select relevant guidance. Do not submit health information about your parent. You can request a topic change by email; these changes are reviewed manually and may require verification.
Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@agingwelltech.com to stop marketing. We retain the limited records needed to honor that choice and avoid adding you back unintentionally. An unsubscribe request does not prevent us from responding to a separate question you send us.
We have disabled email-open tracking for Wix campaigns and automations. Wix may still process delivery, bounce, unsubscribe and link-interaction records. Our reply mailbox and Wix Inbox have separate service practices.
Our signup form uses Wix Forms and its native spam protection. We removed the separate Google reCAPTCHA widget from our custom signup page. Hosting and security processing described above still applies.
Retention and disclosure
We keep correspondence as needed to handle the request, maintain relevant business records, or meet legal obligations. Technical data retained by service providers is subject to their service practices. We may disclose information where needed to comply with law or protect the security of the website.
Your choices and requests
You can manage cookies through your browser settings; restricting them may affect some website functions. You may contact info@agingwelltech.com to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided. The rights available and any exceptions depend on applicable law. If you disagree with our response, reply to the same address and ask us to review it. We may need to verify that a request relates to you before acting.
Other websites and future changes
Source links take you to other organizations' websites, which have their own privacy practices. We will update this notice when our practices change, including if we add advertising or other information-collection features. The date above identifies the latest update.
